Keith David New Warriors

Showrunner Kevin Biegel Reunites With Keith David, The Two Worked Together On Enlisted   In a recent rewatching of There’s Something About Mary, I totally forgot Keith David was the man behind the infamous, “Beans above the Frank” line. Now, the Frank & Beans actor is joining the cast of Marvel’s new comedy show New Warriors on Freeform. David is set to play a recurring villain for the heroes, including Squirrel Girl. According to The Hollywood Reporter, David plays an original character for the show and not a long standing comic book villain. David will portray Ernest Vigman, a “caustic municipal employee who […]

There’s Plenty Of Action & Laughs To Go Around For Everyone On Team Thor   There were two big key players missing from Captain America: Civil War. Thor and Hulk. Inhumans IMAX

The First Two Episodes Premiere A Month Early In IMAX Theaters Starting September 1st   Marvel’s next big thing, literally, is their new show hitting ABC, Inhumans. Bigger because the first two episodes of the show were filmed in IMAX. For that reason, before it hits the television screens, it premieres first in IMAX theaters. Walton Goggins Joins ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’

Vice Principals

Goggins Seems Like The Perfect Choice To Play A Villain Against Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man   I have a feeling Ant-Man and the Wasp just found the villain of the film. According to Deadline, Walton Goggins is joining the cast of the Paul Rudd led Marvel movie. The filming is set to begin at the end of this month. Perfect timing for some hype building to happen during Comic-Con this week. Goggins has the perfect personality to play opposite Rudd. After watching him in Justified and Vice Principals, the guy can be both funny and menacing. Often at the same time. While […]

Marvel’s ‘New Warriors’ Finds Its Cast – Including Squirrel Girl!

Squirrel Girl New Warriors Milana Vayntrub

This Squirrel Girl Casting Couldn’t Be Anymore Perfect According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Freeform comedy show Marvel’s New Warriors has found its cast of minor superheroes. That includes Squirrel Girl! Playing the nutty hero who can speak with the tree-climbing rodents is Milana Vayntrub of This is Us and Other Space fame. I don’t watch This is Us, but I loved Milana in Other Space. Probably the last time Paul Feig was funny. Her character was a hoot on that show. Mixing her bubbly personality with the powers of Squirrel Girl will make for an entertaining rendition. I’m loving this casting already. […]

Movie Review: ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ (2017)

Spider-Man Homecoming

Tom Holland Finally Proves You Can Be A Great Peter Parker AND Spider-Man & Michael Keaton Soars As The Vulture   In the last fifteen years, three men have worn the red spandex and played the part of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were both decent as the web slinger, but neither actor was able to get both Peter and his alter-ego’s personality down perfectly for the complete package. Maguire was a better Spider-Man, while Garfield was a better Peter. However, in Spider-Man: Homecoming Tom Holland manages to prove you can be both a great Peter and a great Spidey […]
