The Nominations For The 69th Annual Emmy Awards Have Been Announced

 

It’s time for the Emmys 2017 chatter to begin! It’s a little hard to believe the Emmy Awards are almost 70 years old. The 69th Annual Emmy Awards air on Sunday, September 17, 2017, on CBS at 5 pm PST. Stephen Colbert is set to host. Today, all the nominations were announced.

I am glad to see Stranger Things get nominated for Best Drama Series. I think this might be the year Bob Odenkirk finally wins Best Drama Actor for Better Call Saul. The competition in that category seems a little sparce this year. Additionally, I think Carrie Coon is a shoe-in as Best Limited Series Actress for The Leftovers. One thing I’d like to point out, Game of Thrones did receive a single nomination in the major categories. That has to be a first since it hit the air.
